Aerated concrete Block G4/550 600x400x100mm
Aerated concrete block G4/550 600x400x100mm. Aerated concrete 100 mm HplusH
Aerated concrete blocks with a thickness of 100 mm are very popular and are often used for partitions and dividing walls. Thanks to their generous dimensions of 60x40x10 cm, you can build a large surface area with aerated concrete in a short time. These blocks, also known as gas concrete blocks, are gaining popularity in the construction industry due to their many advantages, making it easy and quick to create interior walls. Aerated concrete offers several advantages, including its resistance to moisture and mold, making it suitable for use in wet areas. This allows you to quickly and easily build a shower enclosure, shower wall, or a (half-height) partition in the toilet.
Need good sound insulation ? Then choose the G6/650 aerated concrete block (625x250x100mm) . Aerated concrete blocks with a G6 rating offer better sound insulation than blocks with a G4 rating, for example. This is often desirable for dividing walls between different living spaces, such as a bedroom, home office, office, or laundry room.

Finishing aerated concrete wall with paint
Aerated concrete blocks, also called Ytong blocks, measuring 600x400x100 mm are ideal for building partition walls, for example, in bedrooms. We recommend using the appropriate aerated concrete adhesive for gluing the aerated concrete blocks. The blocks in this size have a smooth texture, making them immediately ready for a finishing coat. Many people choose to paint their walls and then apply a textured finish. Before applying the paint, it's wise to prepare the aerated concrete wall. This can be done with Knauf Fix & Finish, a thin-set plaster. This allows you to quickly and easily conceal any imperfections such as seams and holes. Before painting the wall, it's important to treat it with a primer to ensure good adhesion of the paint.
Wallpapering aerated concrete walls
The 10 cm thick blocks are often used for interior walls, for example, in living rooms. A popular finishing material is wallpaper, such as non-woven wallpaper, vinyl wallpaper, renovation fleece, photo wallpaper, or paper wallpaper. If you want to wallpaper an aerated concrete wall, you must first prepare it. Because the aerated concrete blocks in this size are not coarsely textured, your wall is almost immediately ready for wallpaper. Before you start, you can fill any seams or gaps with a thin plaster, such as one from Knauf. To prevent the wall from absorbing unnecessary wallpaper paste, you can treat the aerated concrete wall with a primer. After this, your aerated concrete wall is ready for wallpaper.
Sustainable and Environmentally Friendly
Cellular concrete, also known as aerated concrete, owes its name to the air bubbles created during the production process. This allows for insulation with still air, creating an ideal microclimate in any space. Building with cellular concrete is a sustainable and environmentally friendly construction method. The building material is made from natural materials, namely sand, lime, and cement. Cellular concrete is 100% recyclable; any remaining waste can be recycled back into the production process.
